‘If you cannot go to school, the school comes to you.’ Project Anakuran is an innovative design which seeks to provide formal education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to the children of migrant construction labourers based at medium and large construction sites in urban locale.
This paper is published in the International Journal of Education and Development using Information and Communication Technology (IJEDICT) - an e-journal that provides free and open access to all of its content. It provides a space for researchers, practitioners and theoreticians to jointly explore ideas about ICT in education for development in hitherto less developed parts of the world.
